Noor Korayem, M.A.

I'm Noor Korayem, a Clinical Psychologist dedicated to supporting adults and young adults (18+) on their journey toward mental well-being. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Basic and Applied Psychology from the British University in Egypt and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology for Individuals, Families, and Organizations from the University of Bergamo in Italy. I have completed over 1000 hours of clinical training, including work with refugees and immigrants at an ethno-clinical clinic in Italy. This experience has deepened my sensitivity to cultural and relational dynamics, especially in the context of trauma. My therapeutic approach is rooted in psychodynamic therapy, focusing on how past experiences shape current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I also integrate techniques from other schools such as humanistic and existential therapy to create personalized treatment plans that respond to each client's unique needs. I have a particular interest in working with individuals facing challenges related to trauma, PTSD, C-PTSD and personality disorders, while also addressing a broad range of psychological concerns. I strongly believe in the healing potential of therapy, having witnessed firsthand how small adjustments can lead to significant changes in one's life. To me, life resembles a complex puzzle, filled with scattered details waiting to be understood. In therapy, every thought and emotion is welcomed, fostering an environment where clients feel empowered to explore and navigate their challenges with support and guidance.
