Marwa Swidan is a Counseling Psychologist with a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the American University in Cairo, specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.

She provides individualized therapy for adults—focusing on resilience and values-based living—as well as couples therapy to support partners in improving communication, rebuilding trust, and navigating relationship challenges. Marwa uses eclectic evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, Person-Centered therapy, Emotion-Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in Trauma.

With nearly 10+ years of living in expat communities, Marwa has developed a deep understanding of diverse cultures and human emotions, enabling her to connect with clients from all backgrounds. She also co-leads group therapy for complex trauma and mental health and well-being. Her approach is grounded in empathy and tailored support to promote healing and personal growth.
