Farida Wardani, M.A.
Farida is a child psychologist with professional experience in Egypt and the Netherlands. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Amsterdam and went on to complete her Master’s degree in Clinical Child Psychology in the Netherlands, where she specialized in supporting children’s emotional, social, and developmental needs. During her training, she completed her clinical internship in international schools, providing therapy for children from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Following her studies, Farida worked in the Netherlands as a child psychologist, where she provided social-emotional therapy for children and adolescents across the school-age period, parenting consultations, and psycho-educational assessments.
She also collaborated closely with families and schools to foster a supportive environment that promoted children’s well-being and growth, always aiming to make the therapeutic process engaging and safe. A key focus of her work is helping parents and children navigate challenges together, strengthening the parent–child relationship, and improving patterns of connection.
Speaking Arabic, English, German, and Spanish, Farida is able to provide therapy in multiple languages, making her practice accessible to children and families from different backgrounds.
Farida is passionate about empowering children and their caregivers through empathy, guidance, and sensitive support. She believes that every child has the capacity to thrive when given the right tools and a nurturing environment that strengthens both their confidence and relationships with others.
